DORA Complaint Portal (Colorado)
If your insurance carrier denies obvious hail or windstorm damage, you can file a complaint with Colorado’s Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), Division of Insurance.
After the page opens: scroll toward the bottom and click the blue "Consumer Portal" link to begin filing your complaint.
What DORA Does
DORA’s Division of Insurance oversees insurance carriers in Colorado and helps ensure they follow state regulations. If you believe your claim was unfairly denied, delayed, or mishandled, DORA provides a formal way to submit a complaint and request a review.
Before You File: Create Your DORA Account
The portal requires an account. Create one and keep your login details where you can find them.
